    Its my Birthday today :)

    Hello fellow yarn and craft lovers. Guess what today is my Birthday!! I finally got the podcast finished and ready to post. Yesterday I took my parents and boys to Mount Cheaha, which is the highest point in Alabama. I am sad to say many leaves were not turned but dead. There was some color and it was a great time.     A Deeper Look in the World of Crochet Hooks

    Recently I hard the urge to get back crochet. When I started my fiber arts journey in 2013 I started with crochet, however lately I have really enjoyed knitting. As I was planning out my next crochet project I began gathering what I would need. I grabbed my hook, the original Boye US 8 5.00mm that started it all. When I taught myself to crochet I had put clay on the clays making them fit in my hands but the added clay made them heavy.     December Wrap Up

    made for me from my friend Debra Today is December the 30th. Wow that is a crazy sentence to write. The end of the year is always bitter sweet to me. Sad to see it go but excited to see what the new year brings. I finished two big fingering weight shawls this year. I knitted and crocheted over 10,000 yards of yarn.
