The Dreaded Swatch
I have never swatched, until this week lol. I am starting my first sweater. I am going with Harvest from Tin Can Knits. I love the pattern, looks easy enough and there is enough projects made with good project notes that I should be ok. The problem is the swatching! Do you solve problems in your sleep? I know I do. Often my best ideas come to me in dreams. I had pulled my sons changing table to my craft room for storage after getting him potty trained…. A better view of my room
I thought I would make a quick video of my craft room. I love all my storage and wanted to share some of my “cheap ideas” [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x01aYf7A2IU?version=3&f=user_uploads&c=google-webdrive-0&app=youtube_gdata&w=320&h=266] Since the video I have moved the Circuit machine and taken some of the yarn from the Owl Chest and put it on the bookcases. I put a little glimpse of inside the chest bellow. The nicers yarns are on bottom of the chest and you can not really see them in the photo sorry… However all of my stash, books, magazines etc are on my Ravelry page and it is up to date…. cause that’s how I roll 🙂

Which would you choose?
The Interchangeable Challenge! I am in the market for a set of interchangeable knitting needles. There are so many out there but there are two brands I have it narrowed down too. I purchased a sampler pack from my local yarn store that contained a Knit Picks Harmony, Nickel, Zephyr and cable. I love how pretty the Harmony needles are the Nickel ones seem really sturdy and the Zephyr are great with darker yarns. The problems I have with them is they are not labeled for size. This to me could get real annoying real fast. I am also interested in the Knitter’s Pride. I am hoping to pick up one…
