How does Color inspire you? (This post contains a spoiler of the Voyager MKAL from Jimmy Beans Clue 1)

Color is so inspiring and so daunting at the same time. It is everywhere and can make or break a project. It allows us to stay in our comfort zone or can break us free. It can brighten our mood or bring it down. Colors can also be used to define us and they can be things that represent our soul. I tend to think my colors of that of Fall. I am not a huge summer person or spring for that matter but when fall comes I feel like my soul comes alive and the inspiration flows. There are some many ways we can use color in our projects.…

    My Dawn in the Forest

Hey guys I hope you have a wonderful Summer. School started back last week and I am late on posting. We have had a very easy going summer despite a constant battle with the heat, wood bees trying to eat my porch and yellow jackets building nest and attacking(see photo of hive I destroyed at the bottom of this post). We (my hubby and I) celebrated our 9 year anniversary. He surprised me with a bag of goodies from my local Yarn store. As for the knitting I was not a Stash Dash Finisher but I got a lot of stash knit it! Do you ever have those times your…

    I have been on a Red Kick…

Do you every look at your projects and realize they are all the same color? I noticed that this past couple of weeks.. I have made sock and 2 squares and they are all red. I love these colorways and am very upset they have discontinued it. I was lucky enough to have gotten several colors for Christmas from my hubby and mom. I used the Ruby Slippers color way which is…

Little Ole Me The Busy little Bee! 4KCBWDAY1

Well Good morning. This post was actually supposed to be done yesterday… however this busy little bee had so much to do that I just didn’t get around to it. I have been making flowers for my CAL (crochet along) scarf and then decided to make a fast little project that I actually dreamed about the other day.. Yes I dream of yarn. I have really strange dreams in general but since I started crochet and this Yarnie lifestyle I often dream about it. One night I woke my hubby because he said I was “yarning” (winding up yarn- as he calls it) not soon after that he got me…
