    My First Sockhead Hat

    There are so many patterns out there that are “common knits” the sockhead hat is one of them. The pattern is written by Kelly McClure. It is a basic hat with rib and stockinette stitch that is a bit slouchy. The pattern is a free download on Ravelry and you can find it here.  Kelly has a lot of wonderful patterns, there are several hats of hers I want to knit.     Finished Objects Parade On

     Parade on Little Sheep Parade On… I was a busy girl last month. This month not so much. I love spring don’t get me wrong I love seeing all the birds again and all the pretty flowers. However, with all the comes my arch Nemesis “Pollen”. Pollen is my Kryptonite. IT can take me down fast. I have been nothing but watery red eyes, snotty nose and that dry cough that makes you sound like a dying seal. Since my last post I have finished some objects.     I am Square Crazy

    I am what many may call a monogamous knitter/crocheter. I try to have only one of each craft going at a time. Well except for blankets 🙂 Currently I have 4 blankets going. The one above is a crochet Log Cabin Blanket that I am making for my oldest. I am using this pattern from Lion Brand.   As far as knitting blankets I am working on a barn raising quilt, a acrylic sample stitch square blanket and Love of Knitting block blanket.
