What's up with the bags?
I love the world of knitting and crochet but with comes a world of notions. How’s a crafter supposed to carry all they stuff around. Well I am not sure what the perfect solution would be for you but I can show you what works for me. These are my own opinions, I am not making anything from the companies… or in no way affiliated with them. In a nutshell my projects live in their own bag and then get put in a purse of tote for travel, each of the totes have their own notions pouch for on the go emergencies. So let’s take a moment to look at some…

A Deeper Look in the World of Crochet Hooks
Recently I hard the urge to get back crochet. When I started my fiber arts journey in 2013Â I started with crochet, however lately I have really enjoyed knitting. As I was planning out my next crochet project I began gathering what I would need. I grabbed my hook, the original Boye US 8 5.00mm that started it all. When I taught myself to crochet I had put clay on the clays making them fit in my hands but the added clay made them heavy. I actually could not crochet for long periods of time because my wrist and hands would start hurting. I think this is why I pulled away…

Goals and Dreams for 2016
Can you believe January is here? The fact that I am writing this and it is January 23rd blows my mind even more. This year had brought some interesting days for me. So far I have had my first really bad ear infection and then yesterday I feel off going down the steps of my porch. I feel hard and bruised several parts of my body. As I write this I am sitting with a heating pad on my neck and shoulders because I am so sore. However, despite the issues I have had there is always one thing I can turn to beside my family and faith. I love…

I meet new friends through fiber arts and I have learned some things about myself. I have been very busy girl this year and have so much more planned in the future. This blog has grown since last year. I am even planning new things for the…
